Nuffnang held an interesting event. Its a Blogger Blood Drive. they are trying to aim to be the 1st Blooger Blood Drive in Singapore.

I always wanted to donate blood. although i was scared but somehow, thinking of saving innocent lives jus pushed me to go for it. So wen Nuffnang send an email inviting for this Blood Drive, i was interested and joined in.

I went with Bestie... and was welcome by friendly Nuffnangers. I didnt know the other bloggers so we jus settled down and complete our forms and into the check-up room. It was fast as we were under under an event. 5 minutes into check up. 2 minutes to blood test and 20 minutes to donate blood. i was feeling jittery all over.

i was scared of the needles. but surprisingly, it was nothing. the nurse gave pain killers and i even watch the straw needle being poke thru my vein. i could feel it. I was told to squeeze the stress ball and it took less den 5 minutes for my blood bag to reach the desired amount, 450ml. and that was it. needle out... pressure on the wound and wrapped with gauze.



and that was it.. the thing dat took a long time was the waiting. they say its to relax u... but it think, it made me more anxious. over all it was cool. We got our goodie bag. took photos and dats all....
