something for breakfast. Mum's best Getuk Ubi. (people know it best as orange colour. the the original color is brown. the color of Gula Melaka)


followed the bestie for job hunt. we end up getting lost here. an interesting building along a stretch of shop-houses.


further up we went, after lunch. Clarke Quay we saw.


my favourite Fullerton Hotel building was in sight.


up-close. i love this antique building. it looks better at night, with the lights and during hot sunny days with blue sky.


further up... esplanade was den in sight. remind me, its been umpteen months i've not been there. miss dat place. its nice for couples ya know!

looking at the Raffles-Clarke Quay-Esplanade-City Hall places tells dat i have to drag someone with me and my camera in tow for a photo-shot of dat places. and there is no one better in my mind other den my Love. Dad is also a great candidate BUT he will turn out to be the photographer instead of me. so i have to quietly go there with a camera in tow on my own.

wen i put this picture on my display pict at MSN, everyone tot i make those donuts. HAH! im not dat terror la u donuts! i did intend to make them wen i saw the recipe on Berita Harian but the tot of having to kneed dough, shape it, fry it and decorate it, im too lazy!




those look salivating enuff!! its from the popular Donut Factory. i haf to queue 2 hours. luckily the bestie is around. i did get warnings dat it will take 1-2 hours to queue for the donuts. and i didnt believe it. but wen it was me who queue, i swear the service was slow. but upon reaching the counter, i swear an those idiots who orders so many donuts.

next time im getting donuts, im not gonna queue. im gonna call and order!

how was the donuts u ask?! well, its nice. Dad say its better den Dunkin Donut. i agree. the glazed donuts are not so sweet. its not oily. is soft and fluffy. even after storing it in the fridge, its still soft.

the assorted donuts are not as good at the glazed. the popular Chocolate-filled donut(the white circle donut with chocolate stripe) wasnt as nice as i expect it to be. i love the strawberry-filled(heart shape donut) and the apple cinnamon.

you should try it! so many flavours to choose from. $10 for a box of 12 Glazed donuts and $11 for a box of 12 Assorted donuts.
