this blog is collecting more dust den i tot. well, last week been busy with exams and tests. it was week 16, thus all modules haf to be cleared for the common test week, i.e week 17, this week. 1 paper was down last week, still haf 2 more common tests coming up this week and den exams come, next week. time fly so fast, i hardly haf time for myself. u shd see my table. i could hardly type with all the books around me. haizz

well, lets recap my last week.

Monday, i finally submitted my projects. it was a long day cuz i had to say for revision classes.

Tuesday, i didnt haf any class. actually i do but since the project cant improve anymore, me and my fren decide to skip it. we can jus hand up thru email. so tuesday was a slacking day at home. one good thing lately wen im slacking home is, i know where to get my food source. i dun need to wait for Mum to cook for me.

well, at least for simple dishes for myself. see wat i made myself...


black pepper steak with bacons.

i learnt to cook it from Mum. not dat difficult.

you can get the marinated steak slices at any shopping market. though home marinate is nicer but for a start, the instant one is good to go. so fry the meat with a table spoon of olive oil. 5 minutes on each side. depending on how you wan ur meat done. do not over cook it, or else it will dry up too much and make ur meat hard. (to check if it is not overcook, slice the center part of the meat to see if it is still red. the meat sould be soft and no longer red.)

now the sauce. dun throw away the "juice" from the meat. make dat as the base for ur sauce. add oil if its too dry. first fry some diced garlic. not much, just a quarter clove of garlic, 2 table spoon chili sauce, half teaspoon oyster sauce, half teaspoon soysauce *kicap*, shake some black pepper in. depends on how hot u like it, and a table spoon corn flour mixed with water. mixed it all in and wait for the corn flour to dry up a little, add bacon strips if u like. and pour it over you meat. and done! u haf a lunch for yourself!

Wednesday was spent at school. i had a paper dat afternoon. had to do some last minute studying and final outcome... u dun wanna know! its never good!

Thursday, no class cuz i hand up my project already. so to the gym. its been a month since i last went to the gym with my fren. my cousin was there too. i had a hard time catching my breath doing the workout. and even in sauna, i was drying up too much till my skin hurts.

Friday was another school day. i had a lab test in the morning, a quiz in the afternoon and another lab test in the evening. Love had his Class 5 TP practical test but he failed by 2 points.

Saturday was a day spent with my Love. after his work, we meet up to go Orchard. i had to exchange my moisturizer cuz Mum bought me the wrong one. we had a walk to Far East. feels like years since i step there. had lunch at Sakura Thai. the ambience was nice but the food was not as i expected it. it was expensive and wasnt as tasty as we expected it to be. i had fried beef kway teow and Love had plain rice with sambal kangkong and hot plate beancurd. the kangkong had too many 'belacan', thus the strong smell. the hot plate beancurd was small, yet $8. i can get a big one for jus $6 at MTT. Love made a decision, no more Sakura Thai!

we den walk around Far East in search for a pump shoe for me. since all the shoe shop were full with people, i lose interest in finding one. wanted to get New Zealand Ice-Cream but to my horror, it was not there anymore! its gone! there was only Gelare. i'm not a fan of dat. i had to drag myself out with heavy heart. pass by Grand Hayatt and saw an orange convetible Lamborghini and red ferrari. as always, i'll be goo-goo-gaa-gaa-ing over the beauties. we had out ice-cream at McDonalds wen he cars passed by. i felt like chasing i! headed back to Tampines by bus.

later at night, there was a 'syarahan' at Ghufran by the non-other Ustaz Aqil Hayy. Love followed and he had his share of fun plus knowledge.

Sunday come, the family had lunch outside. headed to Serangoon to our usual spot for Naan and Tandoori. den headed to VivO cuz Dad wanted to buy his organic stuffs. later at night, it was soccer time! Mum made popcorns cuz she jus bought a new wok. haha it taste burnt cuz the sugar was a little overdone. but it was fine. a good start!

so Congratulation Singapore Lions for winning the ASEAN championship! i was shouting my head off wen Khairul Amri scored the goal. they deserve to win. Congrats again!!

ohh ya i forgot to mention 1 thing. my sweethearts got infected by the eye virus, i.e Sore Eyes. it all started form Love's lil brother and den my babies. i visited them and they look all adorable with swollen eyes. no pics cuz they were cranky. i head after the kids, their mum got infected too. hehe. i jus thank God Love didnt get it too.

den monday come, yesterday. i head to school jus to return the DVDs on loan only to borrow 2 more. wonder will i haf time to return it! Love den picked my up for dinner at our usual spot, MTT. had a full, satisfied, meal.

we den went to a quiet road... not to do something notty but we didn something evil!!

i had my first illegal drive! (wat were u guys thinking?!)

sat behind the 14 feet lorry's stearing, step on the clutch, change the gear and off i go. it was a slow start. got scoldings from the illegal instructor for my road judgement. we jus played with the gear 1 and 2 and reverse. had a hard time gauging the road. i had to keep the vehicle center on the road. had to coordinate my hands and eyes well. hands for stearing, eyes to check the side lines. and it was tough. had a few tries before it went fine.

i'll be looking forward to more practices. though im supposed to drive a class 3 car but for a start, at least i haf the confidence to stay behind the wheels.

today, i had a whole day plan. haf an interview for Giant Tampines. its jus for part time since school's closing soon. den im going to head for Comfort Driving Center to register for my BTT (finally!) and off to Love house for tuition later in the evening.

lets see wen im gonna update again. hehe!
