ok lets start from Friday. was out with Love for breakfast and lunch. had MacD in the morning and Pizza Hut in the afternoon. met Hid at 5++ to 6 and went to CityHall - Padang for the SB opening party. collected out volunteer shirts at office and had dinner at MacD again *Hid and geng. im full!*. headed back to Padang at 8.30 only to realise everything was ready. the balloons were blown and half released. so we stayed and wait for the whole thing to start. it hosted by Najib Ali and with stubborn singaporeans, finally the party starts with a speech from some minester of the arts or something followed by the litting up of the LED-lighted balloons by the PM Lee.
the coloured balloons were superb. it was colourful! and the show started with the appearing of SB2006 mascot, MocMoc and MerMer. den followed by a fashion shows by TP, Lasalle and Raffles Design Institute. performance by an alter-ego man, Sonto Al Loyo, a guy who practically wanna be a rap, rocker blah blah blah and screamed "DESTROY!!"??? and change on stage showing his white undies.
finally the death metal jam which made me wanna get out of there ASAP! it was bloody irritating and my heart was practically following its bass drum beat with is
VERY fast. and they were screaming and making so much noise. i would agree dat the guitar playing was good but i simply cannot
tahan. it was too much for my ears. we proceed to CityHall to snap more pics and ended the day with me hogging on the fone to avoid a big fight. it was 11 pm by the time i reach home.
